Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) is a licensed, community-based program providing individual therapy, assessment, and ongoing mental health treatment for adults in a flexible, non-residential setting. You receive the clinical care you need — without interrupting your daily life.

What Is a Psychiatric Evaluation?
A psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive clinical assessment conducted by a licensed psychiatric professional to diagnose mental health conditions, assess medication needs, and develop a targeted treatment plan. If you have been referred for evaluation or want to understand what you are experiencing, this is the right starting point.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) — Adult
What Is PRP for Adults?
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) for Adults is a structured, community-based program designed to help individuals with serious and persistent mental illness build the emotional, social, and practical skills they need to live and work independently. Think of it as physical therapy — for mental health and daily life.
PRP does not focus on reducing symptoms. It focuses on functional recovery: helping you get an apartment, hold a job, manage your finances, and build meaningful connections. It is person-centered, meaning your goals drive the program.
Who Qualifies
- Adults (18+) with a diagnosed serious and persistent mental illness (e.g., Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder)
- Individuals experiencing significant impairment in daily functioning, self-care, work, or social relationships
- Those with an active referral from a licensed mental health professional
- Medicaid-covered in Maryland

How It Works
PRP services happen where you need them — at the clinic, at a grocery store to practice budgeting, at your home, or in the community. Our multidisciplinary team includes rehabilitation specialists, social workers, peer support specialists (people with lived experience), and case managers.
Services are coordinated with your broader treatment plan and individualized to the goals you choose.

What Is Case Management?
Case Management is a client-centered service that helps adults navigate complex healthcare, social service, and community systems. Your dedicated case manager serves as a connector, advocate, and coordinator — ensuring you access the resources you need and that your care is working together, not in silos.
