2. Description of Website

The VHCS website at www.vhcsllc.com is an informational and administrative website. It provides general information about our mental health, behavioral health, and community support services; allows visitors to request appointments; allows healthcare providers to initiate referrals; provides access to downloadable forms; and provides contact information for our office.

This Site is not an electronic health record system, a clinical portal, or a platform for the delivery of clinical mental health services.

3. No Medical or Clinical Advice

IMPORTANT: The content on this website is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, clinical diagnosis, clinical treatment, or a therapeutic relationship.

Reading content on this Site does not create a provider-patient relationship between you and VHCS or any of its clinical staff. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

4. Emergency Situations

THIS WEBSITE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. If you or someone else is experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7. For Baltimore-area crisis services, contact Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) at (410) 433-5175.

VHCS is not responsible for any harm, injury, or death that results from failure to contact emergency services in a crisis situation.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable federal law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Baltimore City or Baltimore County, Maryland, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to contact VHCS in writing and attempt to resolve any dispute informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal remedies.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, constitute the entire agreement between you and VHCS regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals relating to the Site.
